January Mood '25
Bringing back the ‘Mood’s
Sometimes I just need a space to hold everything swirling in my brain. Not a deep dive, not an essay, just... a catch-all for what’s been inspiring me, pulling at my heart, or honestly just sitting on my Pinterest boards for way too long. Consider this my January brain dump—a little unfiltered, a little sentimental, and just a bit much (but, like, in the best way).
01: We’re not actively house-hunting, but we’re definitely dreaming about it in a “one day, maybe soon, please let it happen” kind of way.
I didn’t realize how much life unfolds in that one room until I started thinking about it. My gray sectional has been through it all—movie nights, endless snacks, ugly cries, and those random 2 a.m. moments when life feels too big, and I just need to curl up and breathe. That couch is the spot. The accidental therapist of my apartment. The place where game nights turned into therapy sessions and where my coffee table became a journal.
This living room is a much more elevated, super organic, but cozy, and a little undone kind of way - but I liked the vibe.
02: Grazing tables that look so yummy you don’t even want to eat it because charcuterie board alone is sometimes (always) never enough.
03: If neutral is out and color is in, then why does this zellige tile speak love stories to me? It’s soft, warm, timeless, and somehow still fresh. I can’t explain it, but it’s giving me major “found in an old villa where people drink wine and write novels” energy. I don’t care what anyone says—zellige tiles will always have my heart, trends be damned.
04: hey, that’s me and my hubby. <3 editorial photoshoots and the reminder that I have so. much. to download & share about my wedding season. Shall I coin it The Wedding Diaries? For now, this is a gentle reminder that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
05: Do you ever see a picture that’s so cozy you can almost smell it? This one smells like new leather, smoky candles, and maybe something spicy, like clove or cinnamon. It’s moody and rich and unapologetically dramatic, which is probably why I can’t stop looking at it.
06: Sambas on my mind (when are they not?).
I already own the classic black-and-white Sambas, and they’re great. And now want to expand my collection something a little more layered and cool. These are perf. I can’t find them anywhere, so if someone wants to do me a solid and track them down, I’ll love you forever. (No, seriously. DM me.)

So, this is where I’m at: A little messy, a little indulgent, and a lot of heart. These are the things keeping me inspired and making me feel like myself this month.
What’s inspiring you lately? Let’s share the mood.
With all the love,
